Zenith was founded in 1865 by Georges Favre-Jacot in Le Locle, in the canton of Neuchâtel, Switzerland. He brought all the major watchmaking professions under one roof (movement, dial, case makers) and is considered one of the first to develop the concept of a Manufacture.
This Zenith Respirator is a very interesting and rare vintage model. It features a beautiful brown dial with a grooved center section, giving off a dynamic look. The case measures 30mm in diameter and 40mm lug-to-lug.
Its moved by a Zenith caliber 2562, manual-winding movement with 17 jewels, 28800 A/h beatrate and power reserve of 50 hours.
This Respirator is in like-new condition and comes with its original alligator strap and buckle. On the wrist, it has a very funky look while remaining within the dress watches category.
