Van Cleef & Arpels is a French luxury jewelry company. It was founded in 1896 by the Dutch diamond-cutter Alfred Van Cleef and his father-in-law Salomon Arpels in Paris.
The partners opened their first boutique at 22 Place Vendôme, Paris, and have, to this day, never moved from that legendary address. Later, Estelle’s other brothers Julien and Louis joined the company, and the Arpels family tradition was continued by Julien Arpels’ three sons named Claude, Jacques and Pierre.
Our VCA is a very classic "la collection" from the well-known Parisian jewelry store. 29mm, the typical lugs ( known precisely as Van Cleef), a luminous and elegant silver dial, all complemented by a very thin 18kt yellow gold case enclosing a very precise Cartier quartz movement. The soft black leather strap was custom-made for the watch, while the pin buckle is also made of 18kt gold.
