Founded in Geneva in 1755 by Jean-Marc Vacheron, the traditional luxury watch manufacturer Vacheron Constantin has its origins in the circles of the Geneva Cabinotiers.
The Patrimony line itself has roots in Vacheron’s minimalist dress watches of the 1950s, with its circular case and dial, slim profile, trim lugs, and minimal dial markers, all executed with achingly gorgeous perfection. It’s a style seen in other classic watches of the era, such as Patek Philppe’s Calatrava, and was absolutely the perfect dress watch in the age that inspired Mad Men.
At last the era of wrist "pans" is passing and a return to elegance and minimalism is the new horizon. This classic ref.39015 VC perfectly represents the idea of "less is more" that is so much in vogue (rightly) in the modern era. Simple lines, noble materials, reduced size and thickness, manual calibers and respectable signature on champagne dial. The Dress Watch par excellence
