Stainless steel case diving watch with screwed lugs from the beginning of the 1960’s by Sandoz, this is the first of the so called “Baby Panerai” diving watches, because of the similarity of the case shape. Actually this is the 2nd version of the first version (!) with slightly longer indexes (see advert) that we also find in the famous Breitling Superocean.
These watches were made of Sweedish steel and with their thick glass they were supposed to handle a record pressure for that time. Then came other nice Baby Panerais, such as the Nivada “Pac Man” and the Vetta 1000m, for example.
