Brand: Rolex
Typology: Vintage dresswatch
Year: 1957

A beautiful example of early Rolex women’s watchmaking from the ‘50, the Rolex Lady-Datejust Ref. 6517 combines the elegance of a compact 18k gold case with the unmistakable character of a true vintage Rolex.

The warm ivory-white dial, sword-shaped hands and applied hour markers create a remarkably refined aesthetic, while the roulette date wheel, alternating red and black numerals, provides one of the most charming details sought after by vintage Rolex collectors.

The watch is fitted with a particularly distinctive handmade gold Milanese mesh bracelet, crafted by an Italian jeweller. Fluid and supple on the wrist, its fine mesh construction gives the watch an almost jewellery-like character and complements the precious-metal case exceptionally well.
For women looking for a vintage gold Rolex, the Ref. 6517 offers something increasingly difficult to find today: discreet proportions, genuine vintage character and the versatility of a fine piece of jewellery.

A sophisticated vintage Rolex designed not to dominate the wrist, but to become part of it.
