Rolex Day-Date 18238 Onyx Pinball

This specimen has an incredible dial in Onyx, a hard stone of a very deep, smooth black.
When people think of the Onyx dial, they think of a clean black one. Just a few people know that Rolex also made Onyx dials with diamond hour markers.
The shape of these diamonds and the way they are set is called 'Pinball', The rarest and most complicated cut of Rolex house diamonds.
The kit present is incredible, box, counter box with reference sticker, booklets, tags with ref., warranty holder, and even an additional German language date stamp (the watch was sold in Germany but has an English date stamp at the original buyer's request).
