Translated from Rolex jargon, Oyster Perpetual Date indicates the ref. 15000 has an Oyster case, a self-winding movement, and a date complication with quick adjustment. This watch house the cal. 3035, compared to the predecessor Cal. 1575, Cal. 3035 was much-improved. The balance speed was increased from 19,800 to 28,800 A/h and it gained a quickset date feature, though it only advances the date wheel. The hacking balance wheel features a free-sprung Breguet overcoil hairspring and Microstella regulation. Overall, this ref. 15000 checks a lot of boxes and offers a great vintage look.
