Rolex introduced the Air-King ref. 14000 in 1989 to replace the long-running Air-King ref. 5500. Not only did the Air-King 14000 introduce a sapphire crystal to the collection, but also the then-new Caliber 3000 movement. In terms of design, the Air-King 14000 is one of the most understated Rolex watches you can get your hands on. It sports a 34mm stainless steel case, a time-only dial, and a stainless steel Oyster bracelet.
The Air-King 14000M - introduced in 2000 - is fitted with the Caliber 3130. The Caliber. 3130 movement also beats 28,000bph, but it includes a balance bridge instead of a balance cock, as well as a Breguet overcoil hairspring. Its power reserve is also slightly higher at 48 hours.
The Air-King ref. 14000M is one of Rolex's simplest models and one of the most affordable Rolex watches available. This timepiece is in awesome conditions and it shines as it should.
