Omega Speedmaster Tokyo Olympic Games (N.O.S )

As the Official Timekeeper of the Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, Omega celebrates the event with the release of five Speedmaster Professional Tokyo 2020 Limited Editions that will be distributed only in Japan.

The new models are inspired to the colours of the famous five rings of the Olympic Games (blue, yellow, black, green and red) and based on the Speedmaster Professional Moonwatch with sapphire crystal.

The 42 mm asymmetrical case with lyra lugs and fixed bezel with tachymetric scale houses the hand-wound calibre 1861 beating at 21,600 vph and offering 48 hours of power reserve. The movement is not visible because the watch features a solid caseback stamped with the Tokyo 2020 logo.

The fifth one (ref. 522.30.42.30.06.001),the reference we propose, is all made of steel with a sandblasted light grey dial framed by a red bezel which represents the red ring of the Olympic Games. The colour scheme of the watch is also a nod to the flag of Japan.

Only 2,020 watches under this reference have been created, a clear reference to the year of the Olympic Games, and our is nr.361 of 2020.
