Omega Constellation Amerigo Vespucci "Stardust Dial"

Built at the Castellammare di Stabia (near Naples) royal naval shipyard and launched on 22 February 1931, the Amerigo Vespucci is the oldest vessel in service with the Italian Navy.

This ref. Celebrates the geat ship's history with a violet dial with applied yellow gold dots, inner minutes/ seconds track has aperture for the date. Tritium blackened gold baton hands. The color has undergone an incredible toning down, purple has given way to a gold background, creating a veritable constellation of colors

The Cal. 1110 has copper colored, fausses cotes decoration, 21 jewels, straight line lever escapement, monometallic balance, flat balance spring, index regulator.
