Monvis Ferrotex tropical diver

Monvis is a now well-known brand for collectors around the world.
Registered in Biel, Switzerland, in 1962 it has been a brand marketed mainly in the Italian territory.

The vintage diver we have for sale is an absolute rarity for vintage and patina lovers.
In fact, this diver dates back to the earliest production of Monvis, it features the typical "slim" and wraparound case of the skin diver stores that populated the technical diving stores of that era.
It is powered by the famous AS 1701 caliber.

The rarity of this model comes from two components: the chocolate browning that the radium dial has undergone, a hue that makes the dial of this object a real gem for lovers of vintage patina, and the prehension of the "Voit/Aqualung" bezel, known on diver,assembled in Switzerland and then marketed in America and often assigned to the US Divers Company.
The aluminum bezel with the typical crown at 12 o'clock represents a hallmark and undisputed charm for collectors.
The bracelet is a milano mesh,vintage,Swiss-made, extremely comfortable and adjustable to the mm, with retractable split. Details of care now found only in vintage.
