Located in the Vallée de Joux, Switzerland, Jaeger-LeCoultre is one of the very few Manufactures that designs, develops, decorates, and produces every watch entirely within its own workshops. Since its founding, the maison has brought together under one roof the full spectrum of crafts and techniques needed to create some of the most refined horological masterpieces.
This reference 9046, part of the “Vogue” line, embodies the aesthetic direction of JLC in the 1970s: refined, slim and elegant, with proportions that recall the timeless stylistic codes of the 1940s and 1950s, but updated in a larger, more modern format.
Nicknamed the “cioccolatone”, this piece stands out for its warm, charming patina on the three-dimensional black and gold dial, perfectly paired with its angular 18kt yellow gold case. Inside beats the hand-wound caliber 818/2, freshly checked and ready for decades of precision.
This example is in near mint condition, preserved in remarkable shape. It comes fitted with a Louisiana black alligator strap and an original yellow gold plated JLC buckle.
