IWC International Watch Co. AG, founded International Watch Company, better known as IWC Schaffhausen, is a Swiss luxury watch manufacturer located in Schaffhausen, Switzerland.

The IWC Portugieser Perpetual Calendar 5022 was introduced in 2006, pairing IWC's self-winding 7-day movement with Kurt Klaus' ingenious perpetual calendar module. The latter was first seen in the 1985 Da Vinci and adapted to fit the larger dimensions of the 7-day movement. It featured a case of 42.3mm with sapphire glasses both front and back. One of its signature elements was the 'Single Moon' moonphase display, allowing its owner to read the moonphase in its hemisphere.

This reference, the 5022-18, features a white gold case with an ardoise colored dial. It was introduced in 2006. Between 2006 and 2007 the IW5022-18 was powered by a 51610 calibre.

Seven Day Power Reserve Indicator is in the center of the Date sub-dial (located the 3 o'clock position)
Offset Seconds Hand in the center of the Day sub-dial (located at the 9 o'clock position).
