Henri Bargenter, a mechanical watch-maker in the Jura Valley of Switzerland, founded 'Montres Herodia' in 1948. Two years later in 1950, Herodia moved to Eaux-Vives Square, located in Genève. Within a few years, Herodia's distribution had spread across Europe, the United States and even Asia.
This diver is the perfect embodiment of the standards that were required of professional divers in those years. The large 37mm steel case encases a Felsa 4007N automatic. The black dial welcomes tritium-lit lance indexes, as well as broad-arrow spheres and lollipop seconds hand. The special feature of this diver is the beautiful Bakelite bezel, a feature sought after by every diver collector.
