Harvel Date-o-Graph

NOT AVAILABLE

Brand: Harvel
Typology: Vintage dresswatch
Year: 1945

This little gem, straight out of the 1940s, dictates unique features.

Harvel was registered in 1933, based in New York 5th Avenue, moved later to the nearby Rockefeller Center, obviously swiss made.

This ref holds a full calendar, set via the crowns in the case, the steel case with screw-down case back contains a durable hand-wound FHF.
In this case we have a rare Piquerez case , Ervin Piquerez S.A. (EPSA) achieved world fame thanks to Super Compressor cases that were in production from the mid-fifties till the early seventies.
Last but not least, this is the rarest type of dial with the inner date circle in black glit graphic.

The watch looks great. The patina on the dial, due to radium decay, gives incredible flavor to the already charming two-tone dial, that is the rarer and best refined dial version with glossy gilt week’s days disc. The case is in excellent condition, as is the movement.
