The Eberhard Scafograf is one of the most desirable watches made by Eberhard and is very uncommon. This is the successor to the original known as the Eberhard Scafograf Super. It has a larger case similar to Jaeger-LeCoulte Polaris II models and other distinct dive watches including the Zodiac Super Seawolf. The printing on the dial is unusual in that it is gold. The case is strong and it's never been polished.
The Black dial with sloping Baton hour-markers, and date aperture; Silver luminous Baton hands is in perfect conditions. The casebacks has a distinct stylized seahorse. This watch is also remarkable in that it's rated to 500 meters (1650 feet) placing it as a competitor of the Rolex Sea-Dweller.
The condition of this diver is impressive. The classic 70s deisgn tells, through technical and stylistic features, a very important period for divers.
The color contrast between the black background and the spheres, as well as with the indexes, compose an absolutely striking look. So does the is Bakelite insert set into the faceted bezel.
