This piece shares some incredible history in the Carter lineup dating back to 1904 when Louis Cartier produced a watch for his friend Alberto Santos-Dumont who requested a wrist watch as pocket watches were too cumbersome when flying, hence the Santos watch was born as the first pilot watch.

Manufacture mechanical movement with automatic winding, caliber 1847 MC. Steel case, 7-sided crown set with a faceted synthetic spinel, silvered opaline dial, steel sword-shaped hands, sapphire crystal. Steel bracelet with "SmartLink" adjustment system. Second bracelet in calfskin with interchangeable steel folding buckle. Both bracelets are fitted with the "Quick Switch" interchangeability system. This watch is brand new unworn/unsized, still completely wrapped in all the protective plastics, with the original set, papers and tags. 8 Years warranty.
