In addition to its low coefficient of thermal expansion, its hardness (400 Brinell), nonmagnetizability, and resistance to deformation and damage . Glucydur is also resistant to corrosion; it is rather inert chemically. The case is a typical professional diver's patent like Monvis and many others, which includes the helium outlet valve in the crown. The dive time bezel is made of Bakelite,like the Fifty Fathoms, and is subdued and protected by Plexiglass that stands in a cylinder shape from the bezel level. The watch itself is from a single owner, complete with its original bracelet. It has never been polished,restored or tampered with. It is a tool watch used in diving but has retained all its charm and quality. The dial, as well as the lume and case are in epic conditions.
