Blita was founded in 1928 in Les Breuleux, Switzerland. It was a member of the Coopérative de Fabricants Suisses d'Horlogerie (SAH), a consortium created in 1960 to help small Swiss watchmakers compete with larger Swiss watchmakers. Unfortunately, the brand didn't survive the Quartz Crisis of the 1970s and 1980s.
Today, the brand has been brought back to life, and new Swiss-made watches have been developed and designed in the same spirit as the original owners from their headquarters in Hong Kong.
Step into the world of vintage sophistication with this exquisite Blita dress watch from the 1950s. A true testament to timeless elegance, this piece reflects the understated charm of mid-century design.
Crafted with a 35mm stainless steel case, this watch strikes the perfect balance between durability and refinement. Its sleek profile and clean lines make it a versatile accessory, seamlessly complementing both formal attire and modern casual looks.
The dial, likely a minimalist masterpiece, boasts a design that prioritizes clarity and elegance. Paired with tritium hands and delicate markers, it captures the essence of refined horology from the golden era. The watch is further enhanced by a genuine vintage leather strap with its buckle, amplifying its vintage appeal.
With its vintage look and sophisticated presence, this Blita dress watch is not just a timepiece but a statement of taste and history. Ideal for collectors or anyone looking to elevate their wardrobe with a touch of retro charm, this watch is a celebration of craftsmanship and style that transcends decades.
The case back bears an inscription celebrating a famous Italian woolen mill in Biella.
